Last week we posted a promotional image for WrestleMania 31 featuring The Rock, Brock Lesnar and Batista, originally put up by the official Levi’s Stadium website. As suspected, the poster is not an official WWE-created image, and rather a fan-made project that the website must have found and posted in their WrestleMania 31 section.
We were tipped off when part of the poster was obviously cut and edited from an image created by Will Benson of WrestlingRumors.net, something WWE’s own graphics team wouldn’t do.
Many were speculating that the image “proved” that The Rock would indeed be a part of next year’s WrestleMania event, despite promotional work for his latest film likely preventing him from having much to do with the product heading into April 2015. Both Batista and Brock Lesnar are expected to be in action, however.
