kurt angleCurrent TNA Star Kurt Angle took to his Twitter account to address a report that he was found passed out on a plane that also had some WWE writers as passengers.

The tweet also includes an attached image with a longer passage, which shows Angle denies reports he was passed out, and is still sober. The transcription of that is below:

“I’m excited to say I’m coming up on my one-year anniversary of being clean and sober. I’m very humbled. God has truly blessed me. It’s been a difficult but exciting road to living alcohol/drug free. Then some heartless individuals want to create rumors of me ‘passed out’ on a plane. Wow! I guess you can’t take a nap on a plan when you’re a recovering addict. But it only makes me want to stay clean even more!!!”

Angle recently updated his contract status and wrestling future when he was a guest on Jim Ross’ Ross Report podcast. You can see what Angle had to say by clicking the following link.
