Bret Hart Talks Owen’s Tragic Death & His WWE Return

Bret Hart recently talked to “Ottawa Morning” host Hallie Cotnam of CBC Ottawa, and the two talked Bret’s return to WWE TV this week, what it means for him to return to Ottawa and more.

On the subject of Owen Hart’s tragic death, Bret Hart had the following to say:

“It was really difficult to get my head around [Owen Hart’s death], and it obviously had a very devastating affect on my whole family at home. My dad never was the same after that. But I also know that the reality of what happened with my brother Owen was that it was just an accident. And it took awhile to realize that, for me, but knowing that it was an accident I could live with it a little easier. I really didn’t blame Vince [McMahon] or the company, I may have at the time, and said a lot of things, but years after it happened I accepted what happened and I was okay with it.”
