-Chris Jericho will host the Highlight Reel tonight with special guest, WWE Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart.
-Sheamus comes out and says that he's going to successfully defend the U.S. title tonight, and then move on to Battleground to become Intercontinental Champion. He promises to merge the two titles to become the first ever undisputed - Alberto del Rio cuts him off mid-sentence, and says if anybody deserves to be champion it's him. They talk about all the weapons they can use on each other, until Sheamus calls him out and says he's done talking.
Last Man Standing Match for the U.S. Championship
Sheamus (c) vs. Alberto del Rio
They do full introductions for this match once both guys are in the ring. They go right to the floor and crash into a barricade to get things started. Sheamus starts in with right hands, but del Rio throws him into a ringpost. They take turns fighting over the announce table, and the champ takes off the cover and throws it into his opponent. He hits a rolling senton right on the floor, but ADR takes a kendo stick from under the ring and smashes him with it half a dozen times, as they cut to a commercial break.
