TNA Impact Wrestling Results (7/3) – Brittany Turns On Madison, Three Title Matches!

Bobby Roode approached MVP backstage earlier in the night, but Kenny King runs in and attacks him from behind. They assault Roode and leave him laying on the ground, then we see Kurt Angle trying to keep the two apart in his office. Roode demands a fight while MVP and King laugh, but Kurt says they only fight in the ring and they will have a match. MVP says this is all because Roode is a tattle tale, then Kurt says he can fight, but MVP hides behind a doctor's note and Kurt books King and Roode in a street fight.

Street Fight

Kenny King vs Bobby Roode

Kurt Angle throws MVP out and sends him backstage, then King argues with Kurt on the ramp so Roode runs up and attacks him from behind. Roode hits him on the side of the stage and throws him into a door, then King takes a cheap shot and rakes Roode's eyes. He taunts the crowd but Roode elbows him a few times, then he throws him over the railing in the stands and slams his head into part of the stage. Roode brings him back towards the ring and King rushes him, but Roode backdrops him over the baricade and tries to hit him with a chair. King kicks it into his face and rolls him inside, then the bell "finally" rings and King punches him in the face and gets a near cover. King suplexes him and continues to punch Roode, then he tries to use a chair but Roode hits him and drops him with a Roode Bomb on the chair for the win.

Winner – Bobby Roode

Brittany comes out and says she needs to get something off her chest, then Madison Rayne enters and says she will fight Brittany if it means she will stop. Brittany says that's not it, and she wants to apologize, because Madison was right and she tried to warn her. Brittany says she was new and naive, and Madison says she didn't want her to make the same mistakes, but Brittany says she is sorry and she learned her lesson. Madison says she can appreciate this, and she can be there for Brittany if she is sincere, then they shakes hands and hug. Brittany pulls her back and says she learned to never meet her heroes, then she clotheslines Madison and says they always dissapoint. Brittany throws her into the ringpost and slams Madison's face on the mat, then she taunts her on the apron and stares at her from the ring.

BP: I've been getting a little bit of a Mickie James / Trish Stratus vibe from this program from the beginning. I don't know if that is the ultimate goal here, but Brittany has played the jilted fan/student role well. Now that the turn has happened, it will be interesting to see how this one progresses.
