The Very Latest on WWE Budget Cuts
As we exclusively reported last week, WWE is looking to cut $20 million from its budget this year, and several steps have already been taken to do so, including talent releases, production elements have been cut affecting ring entrances, tour busses have been scrapped and more.
According to PWInsider.com, more staff and developmental cuts are expected to be made between now and WWE's next investors conference call taking place this fall. WWE will also be cutting the budget on certain projects, as there were previous plans to expand certain areas of the company and hire new employees, but those plans are currently on hold.
WWE to Use Several Versions of New Logo
According to WrestlingDVDNews.com, WWE will be using several different versions of the new company logo, when it goes into effect on August 18th. The following images are of the new logos, and the one on the left will be used for WWE TV and The Network, while the ones on the right will be used for other branding such as DVD releases:
