WWE Live Event Results

June 15, 2014

Erie, Pennsylvania

Erie Insurance Arena

This was WWE's first live event in Erie in four years.

About 10 minutes before start time, Tony Chimel came to the ring with some local radio personalities and their kids, and invited the crowd to a noise battle. Both sides won.

At start time we counted down to the start of the show, and then the American Anthem was played.

Dolph Ziggler defeated the Miz by pinfall.

Crowd was about even on this one. Mid-Match the Miz grabbed a mic, and cut a promo talking about how's he didn't want Ziggler punching in the face, because he has been in movies, and it is the money maker. The crowd chanted for him to get punched, which Ziggler did. Ziggler wins with the Zig Zag.

Bo Dallas defeated Xavier Woods by pinfall.

Good amount of heat for Bo Dallas. Bo did a victory lap after his first couple of moves, followed by Woods doing one of his own. Bo picked up the pinfall win to continue his streak, and consoled Woods afterwards like on the previous RAW.

Six Man Tag- Los Matadores beat Damien Sandow, Heath Slater, and Hornswoggle by pinfall.

Heath Slater and Hornswoggle came out with Sandow to his music, with Sandow conducting them. Hornswoggle wore a bandana and a wig. El Torito used Heath Slater's jacket trying to get Hornswoggle to charge, and then Hornswoggle did the same. El Torito won with a Diving Crossbody from the ropes, and removed Hornswoggle's wig, which one of the Matadores put on.

Damien Sandow walked out on Slater and Hornswoggle, who hugged in the ring.

We see a video promo by Seth Rollins, who talks about his match with Dean Ambrose later, and how he should not be booed because he led the Shield.

Rusev w/ Lana defeated Curtis Axel by submission.

Lana did a promo talking about how America and Erie is full of overweight women, weak men, and fast food. Russia is better, and Vladimir Putin is the best father of all. Out comes, surprisingly, Curtis Axel. He knows the crowd doesn't like him, but as a father, he's here to represent his father, Mr. Perfect, the USA, and the hard workers of Erie. Axel get's a lot of offense in, but Rusev wins with the Accolade.

Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins by DQ

Seth Rollins came to the ring with his entrance from RAW, but still wearing his Shield attire. Ambrose entered through the crowd. Rollins tried to avoid Ambrose to start the match. Good back and forth match, several loud 'You Sold Out' chants for Rollins. Ambrose tried to attack Rollins with a chair, but Rollins hit Ambrose with a low blow, and got a DQ.

Intermission. Signed picture's of Paige were available, and the crowd could vote via Twitter on the stipulation of the main event match, either a no DQ match, or a street fight. Um, isn't that the same thing?

Paige defeated Alicia Fox and Natalya by submission to retain the Diva's Championship.

Fox tried to avoid Natalya and Paige at first, but eventually was attacked outside by Natalya. Back and forth match. Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter on Fox, which was broken up by Paige. Paige defeated Alicia Fox with the P.T.O./Scorpion Crosslock

R-Truth defeated Titus O'Neil by pinfall.

Titus O'Neil cut a promo, saying how of all places he was stuck in Erie for Father's Day. Erie is an embarrassing name, and is a city full of losers and losing sports teams. He is a winner, and issues an open challenge. Out comes R-Truth doing his rapping entrance. Quick back and forth match, R-Truth wins with the Little Jimmy.

Titus O'Neil shouts that is was only a 2 count, and demands R-Truth come back out, which he does.

R-Truth defeated Titus O'Neil by pinfall.

Lie Detector, rollup pin, R-Truth wins.

Adam Rose defeated Titus O'Neil by pinfall.

O'Neil vows if he loses again he will not return to Erie again. Out comes Adam Rose and the Exotic Express. Rose get's a quick rollup pin for the victory. O' Neil shouted down the ramp that everybody sucks, including to my Dad, who attended his first wrestling show, and mocked him by saying Burger King is hiring.

Main Event- Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt by pinfall in a Street Fight.

Tony Chimel decides the stipulation will be chosen by crowd noise. Street Fight wins. Bray Wyatt has a solo "I'm here" video for his entrance, and comes out with the lantern and wearing a brown apron. Lots of clapping along to his theme and cellphones raised. Was quite awesome to experience live. Roman Reigns entered through the crowd.

Right away chants began for 'We Want Tables". Bray Wyatt gets on the mic and says no to tables. Roman Reigns said yes. Wyatt grabbed a Kendo Stick and hit Reigns several times. Wyatt then grabbed the mic and asked if we liked Reigns, which the crowd said yes to. He then asked if we wanted to see him cave in Reigns skull with the mic, which he then attacked Reigns with.

Reigns got on some offense, but Wyatt grabbed the steel steps and attacked Reigns, and put Reigns through a table. He then grabbed the mic again and sang "He's Got the Whole Word in His Hands". Wyatt took Reigns outside and stood up the steel steps, and whipped Reigns into them twice. Reigns eventually got a table, and just as he was about to spear Wyatt into it, Rollins came out for the save, followed by Ambrose saving Reigns. Reigns eventually got in the Superman Punch, and Ambrose knocked Rollins outside.

Reigns speared Wyatt through the table and got the win, sending the crowd home happy. The Shield then shook hands ringside and celebrated.

No return date announced.
