Bo Dallas defeated R-Truth
I will give credit to Dallas here. He sings along with Truth and is incredible funny with his facial expressions. He is different. He looks different and has a gimmick that is still mediocre right now. What I am worried about is if he can evolve in a manner that makes him feel important and special. I can see him being a comedy act, but am not sure how much longevity he has.
Erick Rowan defeated Jay Uso
Rowan picks up a victory in about four minutes. This was exactly what it needed to be. Jey hit a crossbody over the ropes, while Rowan hit a side suplex and a few big hits. I like Rowan having his own match. He is the weak link, but he is not THAT bad. I think people bash him because they cannot bash Harper or Wyatt. I have bashed him before and know that he isn't great, but he is good enough right now to work with Harper in a tag team situation. They need the championships right now. Bray needs to be in main events, right now.
Cesaro defeated Sheamus
Both men hit some punches and some clotheslines to start. Cesaro locks in a neck submission on the ropes. Cesaro continues the assault with an old-fashioned offensive attack. Punches and kicks to the corner grounds Sheamus. Cesaro hits a boot to his face and slugs away at his chest. Sheamus finally gets back to his feet and sends Cesaro to the outside. Sheamus hits a running knee and a knee to his face. He clubs his chest 10 and hits a backbreaker. Sheamus is ready for the Brogue Kick and Heyman distracts him. Cesaro holds onto the ropes and rolls him up for the win. Cesaro somewhat steals the win, but I liked it.
The feud will continue until Money in the Bank and I like. The US title should have a feud, but it will pick up after the ladder match. This is good for both guys, one a former champion and the other being a future world champ.
