Update on DISH/DirecTV Carrying Money in the Bank

WWE Money In The BankNeither DISH Network or DirecTV will be carrying this year's WWE Money in the Bank PPV. DISH Network's sports page is listing TNA Slammiversary, and DirecTV has gotten rid of its sports page entirely. DirecTV is STILL airing TNA PPV events, however, and will be carrying Slammiversary this Sunday night.

Going forward, both DISH and DirecTV have said they will make the decision either to carry or not to carry WWE PPV events on a case by case basis.

WWE Stock Update

WWE stock was up 0.81% for the day yesterday, closing at $11.25 per share. The day's high was $11.31 and the low was $11.10.

Two Wrestling Documentaries Launch Funding Campaigns

A new documentary, titled "350 Days," focusing on professional wrestling in the 1980s, has launched a crowd funding campaign via IndieGoGo.com.

The documentary features interviews with Bret "Hitman" Hart, Superstar Billy Graham, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Tito Santana, George "The Animal" Steele, Wendi Richter, and more.

In related news, a new pro wrestling documentary titled "Behind the Ropes" has also launched a crowd funding campaign via Kickstarter.com.

The documentary features independent wrestler Andrew “The Reinforcer” Anderson speaking with WWE Legends like Tony Atlas, Tito Santana, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and others about the "sense of fraternity and brotherhood in the world of professional wrestling."
