WWE RAW Results (5/12) – Bryan Taking Time Off, Shield Goes After Evolution, Reigns vs Batista

Daniel Bryan comes out and says he's had an uphill battle since Summerslam, but he overcame it eventhough he's been beaten up a lot. He says Kane Tombstoned him on the steps and he got revenge, but his style comes with a price, and he will unfortunately have to undergo neck surgery. Bryan says he is not happy about it because this has been his dream, but some people, like The Authority, are happy he's hurt. Bryan says his career won't be over, and he doesn't know when he will come back, but the answer to 'will he come back' is YES.

BP: This will be interesting to see how the injury is handled. They didn't strip him of the title or film a write-off angle; Bryan just told us the truth. Hopefully this means WWE has faith he can return soon and the injury isn't that severe.

John Cena & The Usos vs The Wyatt Family

Jey gets beat up in the corner a bit but Jimmy tags in and hits a Samoan drop, then Bray kicks him in the corner a few times before Harper knocks him down. The Wyatts keep Jimmy down on their side of the ring, with Rowan hitting a backbreaker before Jimmy finally breaks free and tags out. Cena hits a side slam and goes for a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Harper steps in the way so Cena throws him aside. Cena goes for an Attitude Adjustment but he gets caught with a reverse Alabama Slam, then Bray and the Usos get involved before Cena goes for a STF on Harper. Bray breaks it up and sets up Sister Abigail, but Jimmy superkicks him before Jey assists with an in stereo superkick to Harper. The Usos hits suicide dives on the floor, then Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment and makes the cover.

Winners – John Cena & The Usos

Evolution comes out and Orton says he's tired of this, and he thinks it's time to put The Shield down once and for all. Triple H says he made The Shield, and he's sick of being unimpressed by them, so if they want a rematch for a match they already one, they're on. HHH says they will pick apart each one of them, and they will make an example out of Roman Reigns, when he is the only person to not make it out of Payback. The Shield hits the ring and attacks them from behind, clearing the ring and hitting HHH one more time before they back off. HHH gets a mic but Batista flips and says he's done, then he challenges Reigns to a match tonight.

BP: Like I said earlier, this continues to get better. The Evolution promo was a bit vague, but The Shield once again surprises them. I like the announcement of a Reigns/Batista match, and I expect it to end in a bit of chaos.
