Jim Cornette Says Wrestling Needs an “Off Season”, New Bray Wyatt Gallery, Triple H Discusses Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania XXX Challenge

Jim Cornette Shoots Again

Jim CornettePro wrestling manager, booker, promoter, etc. Jim Cornette did an interview with the Steel Cage Podcast out of the UK during his most recent tour overseas. You can check it out in full at TheSteelCage.com!

Transitioning from health issues with Superstar Billy Graham, Cornette talked about the overall grind and injury associated with a wrestling business, and noted that something needs to be done to give the wrestlers “an off season” to rest up from injuries, and extend their longevity.

Early in the interview Cornette said that he couldn’t confirm or deny rumors of Vince Russo working with TNA Wrestling once again, but noted that “he couldn’t do any more damage than what has already been done.” During once of his UK live shows, he then talked more about TNA President Dixie Carter. You can check out the full interview at the link above, but it ends with Jim Cornette yelling “f*** Dixie…”

New Bray Wyatt Gallery

WWE has added a new photo gallery of Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family to a feature on WWE.com. Most of the images are high enough resolution to double as desktop backgrounds.

Triple H Talks Daniel Bryan Challenge

A brand new interview between Michael Cole and Triple H has also been posted on WWE.com, covering this week’s Monday Night Raw, the ongoing feud with Daniel Bryan and more. He had a few words on why he refuses to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX.

“I’m the COO of this company. I’m very busy – I don’t have time. So let me get this straight – you’re gonna compare the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar – A+ players – you’re gonna compare them to a challenge by Daniel Bryan? He’s a B+ player, and it’s gonna take a whole hell of a lot more than Daniel Bryan for me to take time out of my day, and my life to lace up my boots at WrestleMania … As deafening as Monday night was in that ring, with those people chanting for Daniel Bryan, imagine the deafening silence when he is stopped, embarrassed and humiliated in front of the world, on the grandest stage of them all.”
