Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Too Many Turns”

The Main Events

impact wrestling reaction-Out comes Bobby Roode, who talks about being in the business for 17 years and doing what he loves the most. He will go on to say that he is done with wrestling. Not so fast, as Dixie Carter interrupts him. A face Bobby Roode is in the ring arguing that he does not want to work for Dixie anymore, which gets the crowd completely behind him. She tells Roode that he is the captain of her team at Lockdown against MVP's team. If they win, he gets 10 percent of the company. Why would you tease a turn of Roode only to quickly take it off the table? Is this setting up for Roode to turn on Dixie? I found the segment great at first, but ruined by Dixie Carter. Bobby Roode should never tease being a face again because he is one of the original heels that people LOVE to boo. He is so natural at it. Keep him as a heel and help the young faces (and new heels understand how to be a heel).

Magnus defeated Gunner to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Two of TNA's "guys" fight for the championship in the main event. I should have lowered my expectations because I knew Magnus would never win clean. He gets help from James Storm, who hits a Last Call onto Gunner. So, we have yet another turn. This one in the form of a really good face of TNA in James Storm. He turns on his partner, again, and continues their feud. What else does this feud give us? I liked the actual match with Gunner and Magnus, but the ending proves to me that TNA is not sure what to do with guys outside of their champion. With too many moving pieces from week to week. it looks like they want to continue to build the champion in a weak manner. They also want us to remember that EC3 has some heat with Magnus and Gunner wants MORE revenge on Storm. They flip back and forth every other week. This is what happens when you book on a week to week basis and not have a month or two plan.
