Title This: Impact Wrestling Reaction “Too Many Turns”

The Undercard

impact wrestling reactionSamoa Joe defeated The BroMans and Zema Ion in a back and forth bout that really did not make much sense for me. Why would you want to bury your tag team champions and Ion in this type of match? We all know that Samoa Joe is going to face Magnus at Lockdown, so this win does not do much for him. Is beating three guys really a big deal? Do people think Samoa Joe is "unstoppable" now? I sure do not. With so much talent at the top, it would have benefited Joe more to pick up a victory against another big name, not three talents who should not be buried like this. The action in the ring was fun to watch, but I could not get over the fact that the TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS and a former X DIVISION CHAMPION could not beat Joe and was subjected to poor and lazy booking.

Score: 4/10

Gail Kim defeated Madison Rayne in a street fight. This was some good and physical action between the Knockouts. Kim takes a shot with a chair right in the face, which seemed to bust her open. Kim counters with some shots to Rayne's upper body. Lei'D Tapa gets involved, which allows Kim to win the match. Is it time to see Tapa get pushed to the top? I feel like TNA is wasting her size and impressive strength right now. We have seen her time and time again in the same role. Evolve her character, please.

Sam Shaw attacks Mr. Anderson, who is talking to Christy Hemme backstage. So, after a big feud about his wife and kids, Mr. Anderson is now going to be put in a feud because he was with another woman. Hmm, makes SO MUCH SENSE! I will say Sam Shaw is creepy as hell and executes his character consistently thus far.

Score: 4/10

The Wolves defeated Bad Influence in tag team action. Edwards and Richards are smooth operators when it comes to wrestling. They are able to hit a double hip toss, which grounds Kazarian. As the heels take control, Richards hits a beautiful pele type kick in the air. Both men hit a double foot stomp onto Daniels and pick up the win. It was a simplistic type match when dealing with what type of moves they did, but it was fun to watch nonetheless. Edwards and Richards exemplify what real tag team wrestling should look like. They counter each other and make smooth transitions.
