DISH Network Comments on Elimination Chamber PPV; Will “Consider the Value” of Future WWE PPV Events

DISH Network issued the following customer service response to dropping Sunday's Elimination Chamber PPV.

"WWE has chosen to launch a 24/7 online network, without its TV partners, that includes all of its pay-per-view events. As WWE enters the increasingly fragmented media world by themselves, DISH will continue to consider the value of WWE pay-per-view on an event by event basis. DISH continues to provide a variety of programming, including WWE Raw on USA, WWE Smackdown on Syfy, WWE Main Event on Ion and Total Divas on E!. At this time, WWE pay-per-view events are not available on DISH."

As noted, DISH is considering airing future events depending on their perceived "value", or so they claim. If any PPV was worth the provider airing, it's obviously April's WrestleMania XXX, the biggest annual pro wrestling event in the world. But as of right now, unless a last minute arrangement can be made between the two sides, Elimination Chamber will not be available on DISH Network.
