Kurt Angle Reportedly Has Backstage Blow Up During TNA UK Tour, His Updated Injury Status & More (Contains Spoilers)

kurt angleAccording to PWInsider.com, Kurt Angle was scheduled to undergo knee surgery sometime in January, but the procedure was postponed so Angle could work the UK Impact tour as Jeff Hardy was unable to travel and Sting left the company.

During the Impact Wrestling tapings in Glasgow, an angle was shot during which Kurt was beat down with steel chairs, and this was supposed to be the segment which wrote him off TV. However, the next day at the Manchester tapings, Angle was told to do a run-in on a match, and Angle reportedly blew up backstage when he heard of the plan, as he had already been written out of story lines and was working against doctor's orders to begin with. Angle reportedly got into it with John Gaburick, and in the end, he did not end up working the Manchester tapings.

As for Angle's immediate future, he did participate in his TNA Hall of Fame induction in London, and got into it with Ethan Carter III, which will lead to a match between the two of them at Lockdown. It's being said TNA is expecting Angle to work through the injury until after Lockdown.
