ROH Star Sets a New Record
Ring of Honor star Matt Taven set a record this weekend, holding the ROH World TV Championship for 282 days, surpassing the original record set by Eddie Edwards in 2010, after defeating 7 other stars in a tournament to crown the inaugural champ. Taven is set to defend the belt at Final Battle next weekend against Tommaso Ciampa in Manhattan.
New Holiday WWE Main Event
A new main event has been announced for WWE's upcoming holiday house in Newark, NJ on December 28th. John Cena will team up with Rey Mysterio to take on Randy Orton and Alberto del Rio. Of course, between Cena and Orton one of these men will likely be the Unified WWE Champion. This combines two ongoing WWE house show main events that see Cena vs. Orton, and Cena vs. del Rio.
