VIDEO: History of Ultimate X at TNA Bound for Glory

Mike Killam

There have been three Ultimate X matches in Bound for Glory history, and this Sunday the fourth will feature Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Manic and Chris Sabin fighting for the X-Division Championship. Sabin was featured in the very first Bound for Glory pay-per-view, in a triple threat against Petey Williams and Matt Bentley.

In 2007, TNA held a rare Ultimate X tag team match, pitting bitter rivals LAX (Homicide & Hernandez) against Triple X (Senshi & Elix Skipper), with a shot at the TNA World Tag Team Championships on the line.

At Bound for Glory 2009, the X-Division Championship was defended in a 6-man Ultimate X match. The competitors were Amazing Red, Suicide – played by Kazarian – Homicide, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley.
