Curtis Axel defeated R-Truth to retain the Intercontinental Championship. I really do like Axel inside of the ring because his offense can carry over the course of 10-15 years. His character is completely lost outside of the ring. With a guy like R-Truth, you know what you are going to get with him. He is quick, elusive, and takes risks. Axel made every move count and made every move perfect. Axel has a great finisher that he can use on anyone. I love it. The problem is there is just a missing piece in both of these guys and is shown by the lack of interest from the live crowd. It shows by the lack of interest in me, a fan of both guys' offense techniques. Both guys are very generic outside of the wrestling moves that we saw here tonight. Axel needs a real veteran, someone who can teach him how to get over by himself. Is Heyman beginning to stunt the growth of Curtis Axel?

Grade: C+

Los Matadores defeated Los Locales. Tyson Kidd and Ricardo Rodriguez were in masks as generic Mexican wrestlers A and B. Matadores are fun to watch because they have added a few pieces of offense that they did not have as Primo and Epico. At the end of the day, they are still meaningless until they find a tag team to work with on a consistent basis.

Grade: C-

Funkadactyls and Natalya defeated Brie Bella, Eva Marie, and Kaitlyn. We see Kaitlyn return to the ring here. This was a typical Divas match with all 6 getting a little bit of offense in. Eva Marie tries a dropkick. Yes, she tried it. Kaitlyn looked the best overall because of her sheer strength advantage. Even if she is a little slower and not as athletic, she can use her power to really execute some impressive moves. Naomi rolls up Kaitlyn for the win.

Grade: D

Prime Time Players and The Great Khali defeated 3MB. Yeah, nobody really cares about this match. Khali is as useless as soaked toilet paper. I really do think Drew McIntyre still has a future in the WWE. He is constantly being wasted in 3MB who are a bunch of jokes as characters. The crazy thing is all three guys do have some talent by themselves. Slater can work and has good athleticism, Mahal is above average as a technical guy, and McIntyre has been champion before.

Grade: D
