The Rock & WWE to Team Up for Potential New Film Adaption

The Hollywood Reporter spilled the news today that Hyde Park Entertainment is looking to adapt the 1980s television series The Fall Guy into a film starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Hyde Park will be present at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival to begin shopping the idea to potential buyers, with WWE Studios looking to help finance the film. Hyde Park will also be producing the project, alongside WWE Studios' president Michael Luisi, with a draft already written by Zack Stentz and Ashley Edward Miller.

If the project is picked up by backers in Toronto next week, this will be the first time since 2004's Walking Tall that Dwayne Johnson was involved in any film co-produced by the WWE. With filming for Hercules wrapping up soon, he is expected to begin production on Fast & Furious 7 soon.
