WWE Turns Down Bruno Movie, Joint Bid To Host WrestleMania 32 Now Official

WWE has turned down an offer to do Scott Rosenfeldt’s movie about Bruno Sammartino, reports The Wrestling Observer. There are still other parties interested in the film, but Rosenfeldt was said to have his hopes on WWE being involved.

New Bid To Host WrestleMania 32

While this has already been rumored to happen, an official joint bid by Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario, Canada has now been entered into the race to host WrestleMania 32.

Windsor, the sister-city to Detroit, has agreed to put up $60,000 in order to bring the event to their area, but as WZ reported last week, it didn’t come without reluctance from the Windsor City Councillor.

The Detroit/Windsor bid joins two other cities in Orlando, Florida and Dallas, Texas that are also in the running, and it’s expected one of these three will ultimately become the host city for the 2016 mega-event.
