CM Punk vs. Curtis Axel
The stipulation on the WWE App is revealed. If CM Punk wins, Paul Heyman will have to get in the ring with Punk tonight. The match starts a headlock from Punk onto Axel. Punk begins to get a few quick counts on the mat and continues to wrench the neck of Axel. Punk hits a shoulder block and rolls him up again. He tries a GTS until Axel rolls out of the ring. Punk runs at Heyman on the top of the ramp and Axel punches away at Punk. As both men brawl outside of the ring, Axel rolls him back in and kicks at the head of his opponent. Axel hits a bodyslam and a double axe smash for a two count. Axel slows the pace with a headlock of his own. Punk rolls out of it and hits a high knee. Punk heads to the top and teases an elbow drop until Axel is able to roll outside again. Punk throws himself into Axel with a suicide dive on the outside as we head to a commercial break.
We come back from break with both men connecting with chops to their chests. Axel hits a dropkick for a two count. Heyman, who has been watching at the top of the ramp, walks closer to the ring as Punk is beaten down by Axel. Punk battles back with kicks to Axel and hits a crossbody. Axel strikes back with a high knee and a gutwrench suplex for another two count. Axel continues the beating until Punk reverses into a neckbreaker. Punk rushes to the top and hits a flying elbow drop for a two count. As Punk tries for another GTS, Axel hits a swinging neckbreaker for yet another two count. Punk hits a GTS out of nowhere and picks up the victory. Punk stares at a shocked Paul Heyman on the ramp.
As Heyman tries to leave, he is stopped by WWE referees. Heyman slowly walks to the ring and Heyman retreats. Security grabs Heyman and drags him to the ring. Punk gets his hands around the throat of Heyman, but Axel hits a low blow on Punk. Paul Heyman pulls out handcuffs and Axel locks Punk's hands in them. Heyman yells and slaps Punk in the face. Heyman says that Punk will feel his wrath and yells at him to fight. Punk gets to his feet and kicks Axel before kicking Heyman. Axel uses a chair and takes out CM Punk's legs. Axel heads to the outside and finds a Kendo stick under the ring. Heyman ends up whipping Punk with the stick and yells at Punk about loving him, caring about him, and being a father to him. He continues to hit Punk over and over again until the stick gives way. Heyman says he loved Punk and that Punk broke his heart. The segment ends with Heyman weeping into his palms and referees telling them to get away from Punk.
