WWE RAW Results (7/22) – Punk Officially Challenges Lesnar, Daniel Bryan Fights Three Times To Prove Himself

Triple H enters Brad Maddox's office and says he heard Maddox doesn't think Daniel Bryan is big enough or strong enough, but he thinks someone else is talking to him. HHH says he doesn't care what the old man wants, because he disagrees and thinks Bryan is the future of the WWE. He says he didn't go override Maddox's decisions, but he needs to pick a train leaving the station and choose wisely, because one is a dead end. HHH leaves as Stephanie walks in, and she says it must be a hard decision choosing between HHH and Vince, but he needs to do it soon, then she wishes him well and leaves.

Fandango (w/ Summer Rae) vs Cody Rhodes

Fandango takes Cody down and dances, but Cody comes back with a dropkick and some corner strikes, then Fandango spins him and chops him in the corner. Cody comes back with a kick to the back, then he stares at Damien Sandow (at commentary) before punching Fandango in the corner. Fandango punches him a few times and poses, then he sends him into the ropes and elbows him before putting him in a three-quarters facelock. Cody fights back and catches him with a dropdown punch, then he kicks him in the stomach and hits a moonsault before Fandango tries to get away. Summer Rae checks on him while Sandow jumps on the apron, but Cody shoves Fandango into him and hits them both with a Disaster Kick before hitting Fandango with Cross Rhodes for the win.

Winner – Cody Rhodes

CM Punk comes out and says he wants to talk about Brock Lesnar attacking him last week, and Brock manhandled him and beat him up pretty good, but he got back up. Punk says he's still physically messed up a week later, and Brock beat him down last week, but he can't keep him down. He puts over Brock's accomplishments and says his biggest weapon is fear, and he's seen it first hand from other men he shares the locker room with. Punk says he's writing the headlines right now, and he is not afraid of Brock, so he wants to talk about Paul Heyman and what he did to him. (Cont'd…)
