Richard Heyman Dies at 87; Former ECW Star Comments

Richard Heyman, New York attorney and father of ECW and WWE personality Paul Heyman died last week. He was 87-years-old. The following is the official obituary page from the New York Times.

HEYMAN–Richard Simon, 87. Died June 25, 2013. Attorney born in, and proudly practiced his entire career in the Bronx ("El Abogado"). Served in the Third Fleet, US Navy, World War II. NYU Law School (courtesy of the GI Bill). Husband to Sulamita Szarf Heyman (died 2007). Father of Paul Heyman, and Grandfather of Azalea and Jacob Heyman of Scarsdale (Edgemont), New York. Uncle to Laurie (Gerardo) Pina, Wendy (Wayne) Zeilner and Mitchell (Joan/Alyssa/Kevin) Norwin. His knowledge, intelligence, street smarts, sense of humor, kindness, ethics, loyalty and sage wisdom enriched all those around him. There are no adjectives posted here, for no description could ever do this man justice. His grandchildren will one day tell their children about "Papu," and they will do so with great pride. Don't mourn this death. He got more out of life than a kid from the Depression could ever dream imaginable. Services Friday, June 28 at Noon at The Weinstein Memorial, 1652 Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10710, (914)793-3800
