2013 TNA Slammiversary Results – Three Championships Change Hands, Sting’s Fate Decided & More!

Footage of Sting winning his first TNA World title from Jeff Jarrett.

JB interviews Joseph Park, who is making his “one year anniversary” as an in-ring competitor. He gets confused about the Boston Crab being a wrestling move. Park gets serious, and starts to talk about taking it to Devon, but gets attacked from behind by the Aces & Eights. They throw him into a wall, and off a few random objects in the backstage area. The Eights leave as Park is shown bleeding.

Jay Bradley vs. Sam Shaw

The winner of this match earns the first spot in this year’s Bound for Glory series.

Shaw stacks up Bradley right away and tries to steal a pin, but doesn’t get it. He hammers away until Bradley takes cover in the corner, forcing the ref to break up the assault. Pretty standard side headlock locked in, but Bradley throws him off the top turnbuckle, but charges headfirst into it and is taken down with a headlock throw. Shaw goes back to the hold, but Bradley powers out with a suplex. He takes a break in the corner, but Shaw hits him with the monkey flip.

The rest of the match is slow, with tons of rest holds. Shaw with a dropkick in the corner, but Bradley catches him with a big lariat out of nowhere. 1-2-3.

Winner: Jay Bradley

After the match, Braley talks to Christey Hemme about being the next TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

JB is with Bobby Roode and Austin Aries, who are about to fight for the tag team belts. Roode says that half their team was the longest reigning champion in TNA history, and Aries reminds us of who beat him. The two still seem to be on the same page, and are focussed.
