NXT Celebrates Anniversary
WWE developmental promotion NXT is celebrating its one year anniversary of television tapings at Full Sail University. What began as a reality-based concept in 2010, bringing such stars as Wade Barrett and Daniel Bryan to WWE TV for the first time, eventually transitioned into a regularly broadcast television product by 2012.
On July 15, 2012 Florida Championship Wrestling aired their final episode of television, closing its doors and NXT became the official developmental promotion of the WWE.
