5/16 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – Sting & Bully Ray Sign World Heavyweight Title Contract for Slammiversary

TNA Impact Wrestling

May 16, 2013

"The Immortal" Hulk Hogan kicks off tonight's pre-recorded show, and the Impact general manager makes his way down to the ring, to an insane reaction, as per usual. Hogan says he couldn't believe AJ Styles turned his back on TNA, but as far as he's concerned now he may as well join Aces & Eights, because Kurt Angle is going to keep chasing him all the way to Slammiversary, brother. Speaking of which, the contract signing between Sting and Bully Ray is our main event segment tonight.

The Hulkster calls out Abyss to thank him for what he did last week on Impact, and his music sounds…but the Monster doesn't come out. His music goes off a second time, but Joseph Park comes out instead. Park says he watched from his couch in Chicago last week as his brother returned to Impact Wrestling, and he couldn't believe it. Hogan says he's not messing around, and TNA needs Abyss right now more than ever – the Aces & Eights music goes off, and Devon makes his way to the ring with D'Lo Brown.

Devon complains about Abyss coming back last week, and claims that his "pin" wasn't legitimate because he wasn't a legal man, and he never tagged anybody…which is true. Joseph Park gets in his face, and says that he's had it with Devon and his "band of buddies" and challenges him to a match, right here and now. D'Lo asks to kick Park's ass tonight, and Hulk Hogan books the match for later on tonight.
