Zeb Colter says Dolph Ziggler is a man of questionable character, and Alberto Del Rio is just as bad, but they know Jack Swagger is a proud man. He says Swagger will take care of Big E Langston tonight, and he will get closer to realizing the American dream by winning at Extreme Rules. Zeb says it's just a small step in getting back their country, then Swagger says 'We The People' and they head to the ring.
Big E Langston (w/ Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee) vs Jack Swagger (w/ Zeb Colter)
Alberto Del Rio comes out to watch the match and throws a ladder in the ring, then Dolph runs for it but Swagger hits him in the face. Langston and Swagger then fight over it, but Swagger slams it into Langston's ribs and shoves him outside. Dolph sneaks in and hits Swagger from behind, then he slams Swagger into the ladder as Zeb tries to get it out of the ring. Dolph kicks it into his face and plays to the crowd, then Alberto gets involved and ends up superkicks Dolph and hitting him with the ladder. Alberto slides the ladder outside, then he waits for Swagger to get up and throws it at Swagger's head. Alberto sets the ladder back up in the middle of the ring, then he climbs it and raises the World Heavyweight Championship over his head.

Dean Ambrose (w/ The Shield) vs Daniel Bryan (w/ Kane)
Bryan stomps Ambrose in the corner and whips him into the ropes, then he catches him with a kneelift before repeatedly elbowing him and kicking him in the back. Bryan sends him into the corner and punches him, then Ambrose cheapshots him and slams Bryan's head into the turnbuckles. Ambrose chops him in the corner and sends him to the opposite corner, but Bryan runs the turnbuckles and jumps over him before kicking him in the chest. Ambrose avoids a final kick and rolls outside, but Bryan goes after him and hits a suicide dive while Kane keeps track of the other two Shield members. (Cont'd…)
