Update: Jay Briscoe to Issue Public Apology at ROH Event; Donating Paychecks

Mike Killam

ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe has been urged by Ring of Honor to issue a public apology for his recent homophobic comments made on Twitter, which will most likely be happening this Saturday at a live event in Belle Vernon, PA.

Furthermore, Briscoe will be donating his next two paychecks in full to Partners Against Hate, a charitable organization developed to reduce "juvenile hate-related behavior".

A message sent out by the official Ring of Honor Twitter account this Thursday also read, "Jay Briscoe would like to once again express his sincerest apologies and regrets to all, especially his young fans, for his recent hateful twitter comment."
