WWE has signed independent wrestler Smith "Big Game" James to a developmental contract. James was trained by WWE, ECW and TNA personality, Taz, and will be reporting to NXT after his final indie appearances have been honored.
The next 2 months will be my last indy shows for the foreseeable future (hopefully longer) as I was offered a WWE developmental contract.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling referee Matt Bennett has also been assigned to a WWE developmental contract, and has already arrived.
