Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
The two former Legacy members lock up, with Orton taking the first advantage and taking down his opponent with a shoulder block. Cody gets the second exchange and a shoulder block of his own, but the Viper gets right back up and takes out Rhodes with a high elbow. Randy dumps him over the top rope, but Cody skins the cat and pulls himself back into the ring, only to get caught with a standing dropkick.
Orton goes to work, stomping away on various body parts of his former protege, but Cody briefly fires back an dgoes on the offensive with a side headlock. Randy isn't taken down long, and counters a vertical suplex with one of his own. They brawl to the outside and Cody gets a bit too cocky, ending up taking a clothesline from the Viper. Randy takes them up to the apron and tries for a Hangman's DDT, but Cody grabs his arm and drops over the top rope to counter it. He rushes back in the ring for an attempt at a Beautiful Disaster kick, but Orton counters with an RKO attempt; Rhodes bails and scampers to the corner in fear.
As we come back from a commercial break, Randy Orton is trying to get back in the ring and Cody catches him with the B.D. Kick, sending him crashing to the outside. Rhodes brings The Viper back in the ring, but Orton throws him off the ropes with an Irish Whip, trying for a big back body drop, but Cody drops down and catches him with that Goldust Uppercut. He heads up to the top turnbuckle, but Randy hits the top rope and crotches him. Orton off the top rope with a huge superplex! 1…2…kickout!
Randy is getting frustrated as he can't put his opponent away, and picks up Cody and tosses him with a great suplex. Rhodes rolls under the bottom rope, and Orton hits him with the Hangman's DDT. Orton goes for the RKO, but Cody counters! CrossRhodes connects! 1….2….Orton kicks out! Rhodes gets frustrated and starts pacing the ring, trying to figure out what to do, and he starts yelling in Orton face. He goes for the Beautiful Disaster kick again, but Randy catches him in midair with the RKO! 1…2…3.
Winner: Randy Orton
After the match, Matt Striker tries to get a word with The Viper. He says it's been three weeks since Big Show knocked him out at WrestleMania, and wants to know if Orton is still haunted by that moment. Randy says he's never been so focuses, or "extreme" in all his life. He plants Cody Rhodes with another RKO, and his music plays.
