WWE House Show Results (4/24): Amneville, France

Before the show, they rolled a Wrestlemania recap (something they hadn’t done at the Raw house show in Paris last saturday).

Lilian Garcia came out to a good pop to welcome us.

1. Santino Marella & Alex Riley def. Primo & Epico

Fun match, Santino got a good pop. Epico and Primo managed to catch the cobra and teased Santino with it. But he eventually took it back and used it on Epico. He then tagged Riley in who pinned Epico.

After the match, Riley was attacked by the Shield who delivered a speech to the New Age Outlaws and Randy Orton. Here’s the video: http://youtu.be/8KtDAvybFqE

2. Fandango def. Ted DiBiase

My name is FAAAAAN DAAHHN GOOOOO! Good to see Ted back. Good match between the two, Fandango pinned Ted after a Cross Rhodes.

Horsnswoggle came out as the special ring announcer for the Divas match.

3. Layla def. Aksana

Bathroom break anyone?

4. Big Show def. The Usos (2 on 1 handicap match)

The Usos’ entrance is sick! Big Show got the biggest pop of the night! That was almost defeaning! The Usos tried to take Show down but failed. Double chokeslam!

5. Sheamus def. Mark Henry

As Henry came out first, I expected Lilian to announce Khali as his opponent but instead she announced the Celtic Warrior. Nice surprise! Great solid match, people cheered Sheamus and booed Henry. After a white noise, Sheamus got the victory with a Brogue Kick.

Intermission

6. Wade Barrett def. Justin Gabriel to retain the IC Championship

Wade Barrett came out and spoke French before saying that he hated the language and France. He obvisouly got booed for that! Another good match, Gabriel did everything he could, but the Barrett Barrage cannot be stopped. Gabriel was on the turnbuckle about to perform a crossbody but Barrett caught him in mid air with a Bull Hammer.

7. Alberto Del Rio def. Jack Swagger (no DQ match)

Before the match, Zeb Colter said “Bonjour Angleterre” (Hello England) and talked about the usual stuff. Ricardo came out to a good pop and introduced ADR in French! Lilian then said that we would get to decide if Colter would stay at ringside or not. He was obviously sent to the back! “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!” Before the match started, Del Rio played with Swagger’s flag, the former was a torero and the latter a bull! Olé!

Since it was a no DQ match, Swagger used a kendo stick, a chair and brought a table out, Del Rio just brought a table out but used the kendo stick on Swagger when he was in the ropes. Swagger wanted to throw ADR through the table but it didn’t break! It did when ADR pushed Swagger on it! Swagger put ADR in the Patriot Lock a few times but each time to no avail. ADR with a Cross Armbreaker for the win.

8. The New Age Outlaws & Randy Orton def. The Shield by DQ

The match was disappointing not because it wasn’t good (because it really was) but because it was way too short for a main event! It lasted less than 10 minutes! Here’s the video: http://youtu.be/IuH_YtW1UM8

Biggest pop: Big Show, Sheamus, Del Rio and Orton.

Biggest heat: The Shield, Fandango, Barrett, Colter and Swagger.
