Update on El Generico's WWE NXT Gimmick
While many fans were relieved to see El Generico make his WWE NXT debut under the El Generico ring name and gimmick, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there's no guarantee Generico will continue to use that gimmick if/when he's called up to the main roster.
WWE typically likes to own the names of its superstars, and generally doesn't allow its talent to bring in established names/gimmicks, so Generico could very well get a name/gimmick change at some point.
Jerry Lawler Wants to Return to the Ring
During a recent interview with WMC-TV, in which he discusses his recovery from a hear attack, Jerry "The King" Lawler had the following to say concerning a potential return to the ring:
"The one thing I've not done since the heart attack is get back into the ring and wrestle. And, Lauryn says that I've been, the one thing that's different about me since the heart attack, she says, 'You're depressed. You're going through depression.' Which I don't feel it. I don't think it. But, yeah, I certainly do miss the wrestling and I do want to go back and do it some more."
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
