Ken Anderson makes his way out and does his usual entrance, with the mic dropping in the middle of the ring instead of on the entrance ramp.
(5) Ken Anderson vs. Kurt Angle
Anderson rolls to the outside before the bell can ring and stalls for more time. Kurt Angle gets a mic and asks him when the "asshole" turned into a little bitch. Mike Nnox comes up from behind and takes him out with the hammer. Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff make the save, along with Samoa Joe chasing off the Aces & Eights. Medics tend to Angle as Tazz brings up that he has a history of neck injury.
Sting makes his way out and gets in the ring as the rest of the crew make their way to the back to escort Kurt Angle from ringside, on a stretcher. He demands Mike Knox is a match, right now.
(5) Sting vs. Mike Knox
Sting attempts to take out Knox with his baseball bat, but Hebner gets in the way and removes it from the ring. Knox takes down The Icon with a big clothesline, and chokes him in the ropes until he's forced to break it up. Knox comes down with all his weight, forcing Sting's kneck further into the ropes. The two brawl to the outside, with Sting sending Knox head first into the steel steps. Hebner tries to maintain order, but again Sting sends him into the steps. The crowd begs for "one more time", and the Icon gives them what he wants. Hebner threatens to DQ him, but Sting keeps up the pressure sending Knox into the barricade. Stinger Splash connects, with Knox smashed into the guard rail.
The finally make their way back into the ring and Sting hits him with yet another Stinger Splash. Scorpion Death Drop finds its mark, and this one is over.
Winner: Sting
After the match, Sting grabs the hammer and stands over Mike Knox. The Aces & Eights come out with Brooke Hogan, and tell Sting if he touches Knox, the next time he sees Brooke he won't recognize her. Bully Ray makes his way out with a chain and takes out the guy holding Brooke. He and Sting, baseball bat in hand, takes out the Aces & Eights and fights them to the back. Hulk Hogan makes his way out and stares down Bully Ray as we go to our final commercial break.
When we come back, Hogan is freaking out about Brooke being put in harms way yet again. He says he doesn't trust Bully Ray, and he's not the man for his daughter. He yells at Sting and tells him to stay out of it. Bully says that Hogan is so worked up he's now yelling at one of his best friends. He calls Hulk crazy, and says the only thing he's ever wanted to do is be a pro wrestler. He says his only goal was eventually being as good as Sting, and maybe as good as Hulk Hogan. He says he never expected to love anything as much as pro wrestling, but then Brooke came along.
Bully says that he's a hard ass, but when he's with Brooke, things are different. Hulk looks incredibly pissed off right now. Bully Ray gets down on one knee and pulls out a ring. Hulk and Sting look about as shocked as Brooke. He says he wants the world to know how he feels, and asks Brooke to marry him. Brooke says yes, and the two of them start making out in the middle of the ring as Sting forces Hulk to leave the ring. Bully says he wants to have the wedding on Impact next week.
Hogan walks off looking pissed off, as the happy couple parades around the ring.
