Backstage Austin Aries and Bobby Roode argue over what they're going to wear to the ring tonight. Aries says they deserve to be World Champion way more than Jeff Hardy. He says that Roode was the longest reigning Champion ever, and then…he beat him. Roode calls Aries a fluke. Aries calls them a dream team. A "wet dream team".
(4) Austin Aries & Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy & James Storm
Bobby Roode kicks off the match against Jeff Hardy, but the Champion takes him down after they lock up in the middle of the ring. Roode tags himself out immediately to Austin Aries. The two lock up with Aries taking the advantage this time, but Hardy counters with an atomic drop. Bobby Roode rushes the Champion, but gets an atomic drop as well. James Storms tags in and sets up Hardy for Poetry in Motion in the corner, on Austin Aries. The heels bail from the ring and argue as we go to another commercial.
Commercial Break
As we come back, Jeff Hardy is at the mercy of Bobby Roode. Austin Aries slaps the hell out of Bobby Roode, tagging himself in. There's a brief altercation between the heels, but Aries eventually goes after the World Champion and gets him in a side headlock. They alternate quick tags to keep Hardy off his feet and away from James Storm. Aries gets a really cool corkscrew elbow drop off the top rope, followed by a knee drop from the second rope. Aries and Roode continue their tags, now attempting to show each other up. Roode makes his way in and heads to the second rope as well, but comes down into the World Champion's feet.
Hot tag made to James Storm, who rushes the ring and takes out both Roode and Aries. Atomic drops for everybody, followed by a Russian legsweep to Roode. Big back bodydrops to both men, followed by the Alabama Slam to Aries. Neckbreaker to Roode, but he only gets a two-count. Daniels and Kazarian hit the ring and brawl with James Storm to the outside. Aries nails Hardy in the back of the head with the title belt for the DQ.
Winners via DQ: Jeff Hardy & James Storm
After the match, Roode and Aries fight over who gets to hold the World Title belt. They take turns kicking Jeff Hardy and eventually both raise the title in victory.
