Kenta Kobashi Announces Retirement

According to The Wrestling Observer, Japanese pro wrestling legend Kenta Kobashi announced his retirement at the Pro Wrestling NOAH event at the Sumo Hall in Tokyo on Sunday. Kobashi noted that he would like to wrestle one final match, and that he has not been forced to retire, he is choosing to do so.

Kobashi is best known for his work in both Pro Wrestling NOAH and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

WWE Taping Tribute to the Troops Special Tonight

Tonight, WWE will be taping the 2012 Tribute to the Troops special in Norfolk, Virginia at the Norfolk Scope Arena.

As previously announced, Kid Rock and Flo Rida will be making special appearances on the show, and WWE has been taping tons of footage in recent weeks for the special. The show will air on 12/19 on USA and 12/22 on NBC.
