12/6 Impact Wrestling Results – Roode Invests in Aces & Eights, Title Changes Hands & More!

Hulk Hogan is in his office talking to Joseph Parks on the telephone. He says that if Parks goes down to OVW and makes things work down there, he'll consider letting Parks come back and wrestle for TNA against the Aces & Eights. Bully Ray makes his way into Hogan's office and demands a shot at Austin Aries tonight. Hogan says he didn't recognize Bully Ray, the apparent god-among-men, who is ten times bigger than Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant. Hogan says the show is biger than Bully Ray, and tells him to get lost. Bully says that by the end of the night he's going to take over the whole damn show, and get what he wants.

Commercial Break

James Storm is backstage with Jeff Hardy. He says he's got the champ's back tonight in their 6-man match, and everything should go according to plan. He also says he knows Bobby Roode better than anybody, and warns Jeff Hardy that he'll do whatever it takes to win back the title. He says he doesn't want to see Hardy fall into the same trap he did. We go inside Hardy's head again, and he's thinking about Storm being a cowboy, or an outlaw.

(4) Kenny King vs. Zema Ion vs. Kid Kash

King controlls the early going of the match, will is pretty fast-paced and difficult to report. King knocks both men to the outside, but gets caught by Kash with a big clothesline when he tries to leap to the outside. Zema Ion throws King into the corner and goes to work with big slaps. He gets King up for what looks like a Gory Special, but King rolls through it and connects with a great Fisherman's Suplex. The pin is broken up by Kash, who takes Zema to the outside. King looks to fly and springboards to the outside, taking out Kid Kash. Zema avoids the attack, heads into the ring and goes high risk himself, taking out both men with an over-the-top senton.

The three finally roll back into the ring, and they set up the double superlex combo in the corner, with Zema taking them both down and Kenny King taking the brunt of the damage. All three men are down as the crowd chants "this is awesome". King hits the Royal Flush (a Fireman's Carry Cutter) on Zema Ion and picks up the win, as Kash can't break it up in time.

Winner: Kenny King

Following the match King is announced as the new number one contender to the X-Division championship. He yells at the camera and warns RVD that he's coming for the title this Sunday.
