Mt. Killamanjaro: WWE Hell in a Cell Preview

Mt. Killamanjaro — @MikeKillam

This Sunday the WWE has given us one really good reason to buy a pay-per-view: THE RYBACK. In this preview, we'll get to that, the rest of the Hell in a Cell card and your Wrestlezone fan predictions (over 1,000 of you voted!) for tonight's event. But before we climb the ladder to the big WWE Championship match, we've got a few other contests to see to. Yes? No? YES!!

WWE Tag Team Championship
Team Hell No (c) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars

Eight teams went into a month-long tournament; one came out to face Kane and Daniel Bryan at tonight's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Even if only two or three of those teams last in the long term, we're finally treated to some good action in WWE's tag team division. The Champions are the most entertaining program running in the mid-card, but their challengers tonight are two of wrestling's big, up-and-coming names. So who wins? Let's take a look at what you thought:

Team Hell No: 77.8%
Team Rhodes Scholars: 22.2%

I have to agree with the overwhelming majority here. Much like Josh Isenberg – and you won't see me agreeing with our Chair Shot correspondents too often – I've always been a big fan of Cody Rhodes. I'm not totally on the Damien Sandow bandwagon just yet, but I appreciate his talent and his gimmick is unique enough in today's product to get over. My prediction is nothing against the challengers, and the deserve a title run in the future if they do stay together (which they should), but the smart money is on keeping Kane and Bryan the champs. For now. Let their collaboration play out until the Royal Rumble, have them drop the belts and start a slow, but obvious build towards their final singles match at WrestleMania.

Prediction: Team Hell No Retains
