WWE RAW Results (10/08) – Larry King Guest Stars, Vince McMahon Challenges CM Punk, Gives Him Ultimatum

Brodus Clay vs R-Truth

Brodus Clay comes out for his match and does his usual intro, then R-Truth chases Little Jimmy into the ring and holds him by the shirt and asks for a mic. Truth says they can fight anytime, but Little Jimmy is going through some changes, and Brodus figures out that he means puberty. Truth says Jimmy just wants to dance, then every dances around him while Cole says he can see Jimmy doing the Moonwalk. Vince McMahon appears on the Titantron and says they should stop and dance out of the ring, because it's time for his State of the WWE address.

Result – No Contest

Vince McMahon comes out and says there's room for dancing, and there's room for other things like leprechauns and monsters, but they always need action. He says they need to see action and have great battles, then CM Punk comes out with Paul Heyman and Vince asks why he's disrespecting him. Punk says he knows all about disrespect, because he listened to him talk about what the fans want but he didn't hear his own name. Punk says it is his choice to face John Cena again, but he already beat him in his hometown to retain his title and he still gets booed. He says the guys in the back don't respect him and neither do the fans, so he wants to know right now if Vince will show him the proper respect.

Vince says he is impressed with Punk's title reign, but he's not a 'CM Punk guy,' then Punk says he's the best and he went from being a spoke on the wheel to being the wheel. Punk says he is the best thing Vince has, then Heyman tells him to calm down but Punk says they should all bow down to him. He tells Vince he should do what he did last July and walk out, but this time he won't come back and he wants to see how Vince fails. Vince says he really believes that, then Punk asks who else could it be, and Vince says it's the fans who do it and he listens to them. Vince says the fans all think someone needs to shut Punk up, and he says how dare he mention his name with some of the greats like Andre The Giant and Stone Cold Steve Austin. (Cont'd…)
