WWE Smackdown Results – (9/14) – Miz/Sin Cara, Alberto Gains Support, WM28 Rematch

Doctor Shelby is backstage with Daniel Bryan and Kane, and they are doing an anger exercise before Bryan brings up Monday night. Kane says he just wants to be tag team champions, and Bryan says he does too, but they start bickering. Shelby gave them stress balls to help with their anger, then they squeeze them and calm down, but Kane says “his is bigger” than Bryan’s and walks away.

Kofi Kingston vs Kane

Kofi stuns Kane with a few kicks, then he hits the ropes and Kane knocks him down with a quick strike before sending him into the corner. Kofi throws a few defensive punches but Kane punches him and whips him across the ring, then he goes for a side slam but Kofi counters with a DDT. Kofi calls for Trouble In Paradise but Kane ducks it, then he goes for a chokeslam but Kofi ducks and kicks him in the corner. Kofi goes up top and jumps off, but Kane catches him on the way down and chokeslams him for the win. Doctor Shelby comes out as Kane sets off his pyro, and he stands with his arms crossed as Kane gets back in the ring. Kane grabs Kofi by the throat and looks to chokeslam him again, but he instead hugs Kofi and leaves, much to the delight of Shelby.

Winner – Kane

Randy Orton joins Matt Striker for an interview, and Striker wants to know why he asked for a match with Tensai so close to Night of Champions. He says he wasn’t doing anything and neither was Tensai, then he turns his attention to the World title match. Orton says he wants Dolph’s opportunity at an instant title shot, or maybe he just doesn’t like him and he wants to shut him up.
