WWE Returns to the Chicago Area
The WWE has begun advertising for their return to the Illinois area in late August and early September. The "Raw World Tour" is scheduled for Sunday, August 26 at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford, IL. The Ticketmaster-exclusive pre-sale on July 13th runs from 10AM – 10PM; the password is "CHAMP".
WWE will tape Smackdown at the iWireless Center in Moline, Illinois on Tuesday, September 4. The pre-sale is also on July 13 from 10AM – 10PM; the password is "WWETV". The dark match main event is being advertised as a No Disqualification match for the World Heavyweight Championship, between Sheamus, Alberto del Rio and Randy Orton.
New Legend Added to WWE Alumni Page
Wrestling legend Bam Bam Bigelow has been added to the "WWE Alumni" page on WWE.com. It came as a surprise to many that it took the WWE this long to add Bigelow, as even "stars" like Kamala, Gillberg, and the Gobbledy Gooker have been listed for quite some time.
