TNA Impact Wrestling Results 6/21/12

Backstage, Brooke Hogan is being extremely condescending to the Knockouts. She asks who is 100% focused and ready, before telling ODB to get her life in focus. Looks like ODB has been eliminated from contention tonight!

Bully Ray hits the ring and asks "who's left back there" in regards to the Open Fight Night series. He tells the Pope D'Angelo Dinero that he's "an easy 10 points" for the Bound for Glory series, and picks him as his opponent.

Bully Ray vs. "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero

Bully Ray attacks Dinero from behind as he was taking off his coat, taking the early advantage. The announcers talk about the Pope's probably "ring rust" as Bully keeps the lead with big closed-fists and a big boot. Pope comes back and the two trade blows. Pope hits a flying shoulder block and several high elbows ala Dusty Rhodes before taking things to the outside.

As they bring the fight back into the ring, Abyss is seen walking through the crowd. He makes his way to the front as the girls in the front row freak out. Eventually Abyss throws Bully Ray back into the ring as Pope hits his finisher for the win, picking up 7 points for the Bound for Glory series.

Winner: "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero

Backstage Hulk Hogan is with Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam, saying that because neither were called on they "must be the odds-on favorite to win". What? He puts them in the main event match for later on, before we go to commercial.
