WWE Raw Results (4/16) – Punk Defends Against Henry, Cena Gets An Extreme Rules Warmup

Daniel Bryan comes up behind Kofi Kingston and AJ and asks why they are flirting, and he says just because he doesn't want her makes it OK for Kofi. He says he is going to make Kofi tap out tonight, and he is going to rename his finishing hold because he is better than Gene LeBell ever was. Bryan says he will call it the YES lock because that is what Kofi will scream, then he screams YES over and over and Kofi calls him crazy.

John Cena comes out to the ring and says it is interesting that Brock Lesnar hit an F-5 while John Laurinaitis was at ringside, then Brock made him bleed and John was not around. Cena says John became the most powerful guy in WWE at Wrestlemania, and he thinks John would also say 'Cena Sucks' but he is OK with it. He says the problem he does have is that John uses his power to try and end his career all because he can't fire him by saying it to his face. Cena says John went and got Brock to legitimize the WWE, and he wants to make things real because they had to listen to all the talk about entertainment and Hollywood for a year. Cena says Brock is about pain and torture, and he has to face a man whose only purpose is to replace him.

Cena says Brock said he was afraid, and he was right because he is going to fight to overcome that fear, and he might get his ass kicked but he will still fight. John Laurinaitis comes out to tell Cena that it's the beginning of the 'People Power' era, and he is glad Cena wants to fight because everyone wants to see it. John says he is putting Cena in an Extreme Rules match tonight, and he wants to remind Cena that they will have a contract signing next week with Lesnar. He says Cena won't know his opponent until later because it will be exciting, and excitement is what People Power is all about.
