Madison attacks Velvet during her entrance and chokes her in the corner, then she whips her off the ropes and knocks her down with a jumping leg lariat. Madison punches her in the back and taunts her, but Velvet comes back with some clotheslines and a running dropkick for a two count. Velvet gets thrown in the corner and slapped, then Madison splashes her in the corner and faceplants her, but Velvet shoves her away. Velvet kicks her away from the corner and spears her, then she hits a bulldog and drops her with In Yo Face to pick up the win. Christy Hemme asks for her thoughts after the match, and she says Gail has been so preoccupied with Madison Rayne that she forgot all about her. Velvet says she never got her title rematch, so she is putting everyone on notice and says Gail should watch out because she is coming for her title.

Bully Ray is talking to Bobby Roode in his locker room as he says they haven't seen eye to eye lately but he is tired of being shown up by James Storm. He says he wants to take care of the thorn in their side, and Roode gets pumped up and yells 'Do It!', but Roode rolls his eyes and says that's stupid. Elsewhere, Dixie is shown talking to Hulk Hogan, and she says she can't believe she is talking to him and asking him to come back after what has happened so far. Hulk says he saw how bad he become by listening to Eric Bischoff, but he took himself out of that situation and he is at peace. Dixie says he left things in chaos, and he should come back and fix things to prove himself, and she doesn't have many other options. Hulk says he is trying to be respectful, but he thinks things have gone too far without him, then Dixie asks him to at least show up at Impact so he says he will think it over.

Kurt Angle is in his locker room and he says he doesn't want to give Jeff Hardy a rematch because he is a crybaby, and he says Hardy cries more than his son. He tells Hardy he can face Ken Anderson tonight, and if he beats Anderson he will think about giving Hardy his match at Lockdown. Kurt says if Hardy loses, he will never face him again because the Kurt Angle bus is leaving the bus station, and it's leaving for good.
