New Blog on Orton’s WM Presence, WWE Heading to Brazil

Randy OrtonNew Blog on Orton’s WM Presence

Spinebuster.com, a new pro wrestling blog site, has written an interesting new piece on why Randy Orton deserves better on the WrestleMania card this year, and the following is an excerpt from the blog, which you can read in full by clicking on the above link:

…For the third straight year Randy Orton is stuck wrestling in a nothing match on the biggest show of the year. This is despite being one of WWE’s biggest stars and face of Smackdown. At Wrestlemania 26 he was booked in a forgettable Triple Threat match against Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes on the second match of the PPV. Then at Wrestlemania 27 he wrestled CM Punk, who was not the star he is now, in the fourth match of the show. This year he has the unenviable task of dragging a decent match out of a broken down and past it Kane.

I’ve always heard that Wrestlemania is the show everyone works towards, and if I was Randy Orton I’d feel well and truly shafted. He was perhaps WWE’s best performer of 2011 and deserves better than to get  thrown into a feud with Kane just so they both can get on the show. At best his match will be the fifth featured match and his pay off will be well down, not much of a reward for carrying the Smackdown brand by himself.
