WWE House Show Results (1/20): Winnipeg, Manitoba

Chris JerichoThanks to Keaton Arksey for sending this in:

Ryback over Alex Riley with a spear. Not a lot of the crowd know who he is, but decent heat. Afterwards, David Otunga came out and hit Riley with his thermos of coffee. Better than a water bottle, I guess.

Eve and Kelly over The Divas of Doom with a roll up. Nothing too exciting.

R-Truth over Swagger. Swagger starts a promo issuing an open challenge. Non-title stipulation added after match by Otunga.

Rhodes retained the Intercontinental Title against Dibiase

Barrett cuts a promo on Orton, how he's gonna win the Royal Rumble. Says he'll come back when he wins title. Very nice of him.

Sheamus defeats Barrett with a Brough Kick.

Jericho comes out to a huge hometown reaction. Typical Jeritroll until Otunga comes out citing public safety concerns about Jericho's jacket. Says Jericho will be arrested if he doesn't take it off. I was not aware being fabulous was against the law. Jericho puts in the Walls, continues the Jeritroll. No

words for the hometown crowd. Still probably the biggest reaction of the night.

Primo and Epico retain against Ryan and Kingston after a distraction from Rosa, a Backstabber, and Rosa shoving Ryan's foot off the ropes. I'm not sure if Ryan will serve as Bourne's replacement or not, but quite a few people were wondering why Kofi was teaming with someone else.

Big Show defeats Daniel Bryan when  Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett come out and attack Show. I guess Mark Henry wasn't available. Bryan gets a full on heel treatment from the crowd.

Crowd boos a plug for the latest Cena trainwreck/movie. No actual Cena to test this theory, but I'd say the crowd was the typical 50/50 on Cena.

CM Punk pins the Miz after a GTS in a WWE title cage match.

Overall a decent show in my books. Lots of people in CM Punk, Cena, and Ryder merch, even though Ryder and Cena were no shows. Would have been nice to have Jericho do something special for his hometown, but damn that jacket is shiny.

Top pops were for Jericho and CM Punk easily. Sheamus a distant third.

Most heat goes to Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Otunga when he interrupted Jericho.
