James Storm comes out and says it feels good coming back as the number one contender, and he beat a hell of a wrestler in Kurt Angle. Storm says he is going to get his hands on Bobby Roode at Against All Odds and tells him sorry about his damn luck, but Jeff Hardy comes out and cuts him off. Hardy says he got screwed at the pay per view, and he got screwed last week so no one is getting the next title shot until he gets another shot. Storm refreshes his memory and says he was the champ a few months ago and Roode screwed him, then Roode comes out to answer them both.

Roode tells them to stop and try and get along, because he is flattered but there was no winner between him and Hardy last week. Roode says that means Storm is not getting a title shot, and Hardy failed twice last week so he doesn't get a another shot either. Sting comes out to clear things up and he says Roode found another loophole and it was clever, but he is going to fix things with a number one contender's match tonight. Sting says he hears the fans and he announces Hardy versus Storm in the main event, and says ta-ta for now and leaves as Storm and Hardy shake hands.

Gunner (w/ Ric Flair) vs AJ Styles

AJ backs Gunner into the corner and chops him, then applies a headlock but Gunner throws him into the corner and punches him in the back of the head. AJ comes back with a backslide then they stand off and lock up, then run the ropes and AJ connects with a dropkick that sends Gunner to the floor. He regroups with Flair before getting back in, then shoves AJ and punches him in the back and drops him with a vertical suplex for a two count. Gunner knees him in the back a few times then applies a waistlock but AJ stands up and clubs him in the head to break the hold. (Cont'd…)
