IMPACT WRESTLING RESULTS

BY BILL PRITCHARD FOR WRESTLEZONE.COM

JANUARY 5TH, 2012

Sting comes out and asks Jeff Hardy to come to the ring, and he says he has been impressed with Hardy because he dealt with his problems and built up trust. Sting says he had his own demons and he took his second chance and ran with it, and now he sees Hardy's fans and the wrestlers in the back all looking up to him. He says he gives Hardy his full endorsement, then they get interrupted by Bobby Roode's music, and he makes his way out with both Kurt Angle and Bully Ray.

Roode says he almost threw up in the back and asks if Sting is joking, because he says he calls it down the middle but comes out and kisses up to Hardy. Roode says it should be him because he is the champion and the biggest face of the company. He says if it's not him it should be a guy like Kurt Angle, who is a gold medalist and the guy who took Sting's advice and went to Tennessee and beat up James Storm's friends, but Sting went and punished him by putting him in a match against RVD. Roode then says it should be a guy like Bully Ray getting a title shot, but Sting picks his friends and asks what Hardy is staring at.

James Storm comes out to the ring with Abyss, and Storm tells Roode to shut the hell up then asks if Kurt isn't talking because he superkicked him. He says Kurt can beat up his friends, and he looked him in the eye before but now he sees that he is scared and he can take him out that quickly. Storm says he brought a friend who likes to drink and toasts Abyss, and Kurt goes to say something but Abyss tells them to shut up. Abyss says Immortal was disrespectful and took advantage of him, but now they know that they need him, but he doesn't need them anymore, and he will make Bully Ray pay at Genesis for all of Immortal's wrongdoing. Sting tells them not to say anything else, because he thinks he just found tonight's main event and says they are going to have a six man tag match.
