WWE RAW Results (1/2) – Punk Defends Against Ziggler, The Person Behind ‘It Begins’ Is Finally Revealed

Miz vs Sheamus

Miz attacks Sheamus before the bell and pounds on him then ties his left arm in the ropes, but Sheamus kicks him away then beats the hell out of him on the apron. Miz runs through the crowd to get away and R-Truth is heard on a mic and he says he has been watching from the crowd. Truth says he found Little Jimmy and he doesn't like Miz, and Jimmy told Truth that Miz needs to get got and he starts walking down the steps towards him. Miz jumps the rail and gets hit with a Brogue Kick at ringside, then Sheamus walks away as Truth comes over with a water bottle and smacks Miz in the head with it before leaving through the crowd.

Result – No Contest

Josh Mathews is backstage to interview Dolph Ziggler, and the camera shows him standing on his head then flipping up to his feet and Vickie fixes his hear. Dolph makes fun of America and says the people are lacking but he is a surplus of talent and charisma, but the only thing he is missing is the WWE Championship. Elsewhere, Zack Ryder is shown talking to Eve about last week's match when Jack Swagger comes up and says there's an imposter wearing the United States Championship. They start arguing about who should be the champion until John Laurinaitis comes in and tells them they will be involved in a six man tag match later tonight, then nods and smiles in approval.

Dolph Ziggler (w/ Vickie Guerrero) vs CM Punk

Punk takes Dolph down and tries to roll him up, then puts him in a waistlock but Dolph sweeps Punk's leg and goes for a pin of his own. They stand back up and lock up but Punk punches him in the stomach and hits a backbreaker for two, then Dolph backs him into the corner and punches him until the ref calls for a break. Dolph punches Punk again then misses an elbow drop and Punk bodyslams him and hits five quick running legdrops but only gets a two count, then Dolph counters and drops him throat first on the middle rope. (Cont'd…)
