Miz comes out and says he is the 2011 Superstar of the Year and the next champion, so if anyone is getting a shot it is him. John Laurinaitis comes out and says he is being falsely accused of being boring but he is out there to shatter that image now. All four men in the ring will face a Smackdown superstar and if they win their match they will be automatically entered into the title match at TLC. John says he has a special "social experiment" for Cena and tells him to see him about who his opponent is, then tells Miz he faces Randy Orton right now.
The Miz vs Randy Orton
Miz gets hit with a shoulder block then locks up with Orton and kicks his knee and throws him into the corner, but Orton comes back with a clothesline and some stomps. Orton suplexes him and whips him off the ropes but Miz counters with a big boot then drives his knee into Orton's back and kicks him in the head. Miz puts him in a headlock and Orton elbows his way out, but Miz catches him with a backbreaker/neckbreaker combo and gets a two count. He puts Orton back in a headlock but Orton counters out with a side suplex, then powerslams Miz and throws him on the apron to set up the delayed DDT. Miz backdrops him to the floor then goes out after him, but Orton surprises him with a powerslam as Wade Barrett's music starts. Wade makes his way towards the ring and Orton chases him as the ref counts him out, then Orton heads back to the ring but Wade runs back out and hits Orton in the back of the head and leaves him laying.

John Laurinaitis is texting while Zack Ryder is hyping up the new WWE Network, but John stops him and says Dolph Ziggler has filed a complaint about his petition. John Cena comes in and mocks John but he tells Cena that he is putting him in a match tonight against Zack, and they both say it doesn't have to happen, but John tells them the winner will get their respective title match that they were seeking.
