TNA live event (Sacramento, Calif.)

Report by Joe Gomes and ProWrestling.net

Meet and Greet Talent: Winter, Kid Kash, Chris Daniels, Kazarian, Crimson and Spanky (sans footwear, LOL).

Before the first match of the night, Jeremy Borash came out an announced the title change from the TV tapings.

Robert Roode came out and cut a heel promo. James Storm interrupted and challenged Roode to a title match later in the night.

1. Kendrick and Kazarian beat Christopher Daniels and Kid Kash. The babies went over after Spanky delivered a superkick followed by sliced bread No. 2 to Kash.

2. Crimson beat Samoa Joe. Crimson went over on Joe clean. Both guys worked heel.

3. Mickie James beat Winter. Mickie worked in a Super Woman outfit and went over on Winter after a tornado DDT.

4. Rob Van Dam beat Abyss. RVD over Abyss after the 5 Star Frog Splash. RVD walked by us during his entrance and reeked of marijuana. I’m not just saying that because it’s “cool” to make fun of him, just stating the facts.

5. Bobby Roode defeated James Storm to win the TNA Title. Match of the night. Roode went over on Storm with a belt shot after a ref bump. Excellent match. Beer Money chants throughout.

6. Jeff Hardy defeated Bully Ray. A close second for match of the night. Ray cut a nine minute heel promo before the match. Hardy and Ray then worked the crowd for another five minutes or so. The crowd was eating out of the palm of their hands. The match itself was only about seven minutes, but they made every minute count. Hardy went over with the Swantan Bomb.
